We don’t buy something because of what it IS.

We don’t even buy it because of what it DOES.

We buy because of what something MEANS to us.

We’re all constantly walking around in a trance, with thousands of marketing messages thrown at us every day.

In order to grab someone’s attention, you need to say something meaningful. You need to enter someone’s stream of consciousness right at the thoughts they are currently thinking.

Knowing how to do that is my specialty.

There are many marketers who will tell you to create an “ideal customer avatar.”

You’re instructed to think through that person’s life, what they’re struggling with, what they’re thinking about, what they’re looking for, etc.

But even if you know all of those answers, not knowing how to structure a message so that it cuts through the clutter and snaps its fingers right in front of your customer’s face will keep you from reaping the benefits of knowing your customer.

That’s where I come in.

A Little About Me

I get it…you’re skeptical. I mean, there are a lot of people out there who tell you they can write your copy and show you results.

Why should you trust me?

To be honest, I’m somewhat of a perfect storm for this work.

I have always been interested in psychology. In fact, I have a degree in psychology and I focused my studies in college on social psychology (which is basically the study of why people are the way they are).

I’ve also been a word nerd as long as I can remember. I’m that weirdo who actually liked diagramming sentences in grammar class. I know…annoying, right?

I started my first online entrepreneurial adventure in 2008 and have been devouring information about online marketing ever since.

I am a self-taught web designer and worked for over 4 years just as a freelance web designer. (You can check out my web design site here.)

And now I’m in an apprenticeship program with a world-renowned copywriter, Ray Edwards. I’m working toward a certification in copywriting, with Ray and his team, and fewer than 50 people worldwide can tout that certification.
