Hi JB!

Welcome to your copywriting and web design proposal.

Thank you for taking the time to chat with me about your business, your goals, and your vision for moving forward.

I had a lot of fun on our call and actually felt like I was talking to a long-time friend.

My mission is to help entrepreneurs like you grow their online businesses by conveying their message to their audience in a way that feels genuine, authentic, and engaging.

And my goal is to make this a fun and luxurious process that feels more like playing than working.

So let’s get to work play.

Since we could be working on both copy and web design together, I’ll lay out the objectives for each below.

The Roadmap

Here’s a little guide to let you know where we’re headed. You can click an icon below to jump to that section.

Summary of Our Copywriting Objectives

Clear communication is of the utmost importance to a copywriter, so I want to clearly state the objectives we discussed during our call here and list out the deliverables and process below.

You will see below that I have outlined different packages with varying levels of copywriting help, as we talked about during our consultation call.

It’s very important for you to clearly communicate who you can help most immediately when people reach your website. We want your perfect clients to feel a sense of relief as soon as they land on your website, feeling as if they’ve finally found the answer they’ve been looking for.

Whether you’re writing the copy or I am helping you with it, that should be the primary objective of the copy and the overall web design and aesthetic should support the copy as well.

Summary of Our Web Design Objectives

A website doesn’t have to be elaborate to work well. You need a simple and beautiful site that welcomes people and gives them an introduction to you and how you work.

A website should answer the following questions at a minimum:

  • Who are you?
  • Who do you work with?
  • What do you help them do?
  • How does that make a difference for them?
  • How do they get in touch with you?

As we talked about on our call, we can accomplish that with a 4-page website.

As we talked about during our Zoom chat, I do believe that a new color palette (at a minimum) be chosen and possibly a new logo should be created. The package options below will give you some options for those services as well.

All websites I design are responsive, which means they adjust according to the screen on which they are being viewed. Because of this, the information on the website is somewhat fluid and displays slightly differently on different-sized screens so the content can be read and used.

My Skills and Qualifications

I would never expect you to put the voice and presentation of your business or brand in the hands of just anyone.

They are crucial components of a successful business and I want you to know that I take that responsibility very seriously.

That’s why I want to reassure you that I have the skills and qualifications that you are looking for and you can trust that I will keep your best interest top of mind during our project.

I have been in online marketing since 2008. I began slowly learning what I could and teaching myself all along the way. In 2013, I became a freelance web designer and built a successful web design business called Unleashed Web Design.

I also have a long history of loving words and have considered myself a writer for most of my life.

In 2018 I took my love of copywriting to the highest professional level I could. I went through the training and certification process to become a Ray Edwards International Certified Copywriter.

Ray Edwards is a renowned copywriter who has written for entrepreneurs such as Stu McLaren, Amy Porterfield, Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield (author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series of books), and many others.

He now teaches and certifies copywriters in direct response copywriting (i.e. basically writing words that sell).

Alright…that’s enough about me. Let’s get back to YOU.

How It Works

The steps of the process we’ll walk through together are below.

1. Copywriting & Design Brief

We’ll spend 1 hour on a Zoom call to discuss questions I’ll send to you no later than three (3) days before our scheduled call.

2. Web Design Mockup

Any proposed design elements and mockups of all pages of your website will be presented to you so you can see how your information will flow on each page.

3. Copywriting Approval

If you choose to have me write or edit your copy, it will be written/edited after the web design mockups are approved. You will have five (5) business days to approve or request revisions.

4. Website Development

Once the copy is approved (or provided), it will replace the placeholder text in the website mockup that was approved. Once the site is developed you’ll have five (5) business days to approve or request revisions.

Package Options

Below are the package options that are available to you. Remember that this is just a springboard and we can discuss all aspects of the packages, including coming up with an entirely different one by combining different deliverables together.

Project Timeline

I estimate that this project will take between four (4) and eight (8) weeks upon commencement, depending on the package that is chosen.

Upon proposal approval, I will create and send over a contract that you will sign, which will include the initial payment invoice for the project you choose. We will then schedule our start date, keeping in mind your desire to finish the project by the end of the year.

If you are ready to get started with this project, please fill out the form. If you have further questions or would like to discuss a hybrid package, email me at this address: hello@lorireeves.us. This proposal is valid for 30 days from September 23, 2021.
